Please note there are no mock exams at this time in R.E., Drama, ICT, CoPE, Hair and Beauty and Art.

One non-calculator paper and one calculator paper. A range of mathematics problems including some short questions, some multi-stage problems and some where your skills must be applied to an unfamiliar situation.

Paper 1 will require you to work without a calculator. A calculator will be needed for Paper 2.



All work covered since September.

A list of topic headings for revision will be provided.



Practice answering questions.

Use BBC ‘bitesize’ and ‘mymaths’ websites.

Revision examples and practice questions will be given in lessons leading up to the examination.


Basic writing equipment plus: ruler, protractor, compasses, and calculator.

1 x 2 hours

Describe questions. (five accurate pieces of evidence) (5 marks)

Explain questions. (two points, B,S,T). (7 marks)

Balanced answers with conclusion. (8 marks)

There will also be some short source questions.



Crime and Punishment - Romans; Saxons; Normans; Medieval; Early Modern; Industrial.

Germany 1919-1945 - Weimer Germany; Rise of the Nazis; Hitler becomes Chancellor; Nazi consolidation of power.

Use the revision guides on Moodle and Sharepoint along with your exercise books to revise. Summary sheets and tests in the back of your books.

Also revise exam technique: how to answer the different types of questions.

Description question (using a source) – SAY WHAT YOU SEE.

Description question (without a source) – Specifics. Facts and figures from a case study example if possible.

Explanation of a physical process (formation of…) - Produce a complete and logical sequence full of key terms.

Explain how/why… - Point – Explain clearly with case study examples – Link back to the focus of the question.
