INAUGURAL SESSION AND ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
To give heartiest welcome to the new members of C T family (Session 2014-15), Orientation Day was organized on 11th August, 2014. In the Orientation Programme, the students were familiarized with the Teacher Education profession. The students were made aware of the professional requirements, content outlines, examination system, code of conduct and different activities to be carried out during the whole session. Principal Dr.Kuldeep Kaur addressed students of the new session and told them regarding the course of B.Ed.She also introduced the faculty members to the students. The Assistamt professors provided information and details regarding different activities of the whole session.The information regarding syllabus of B.Ed and time table was given by Dr. Rajnish Sharma. Ms Anju Sharma provided the details regarding the scheme of sessional work, and examination. Ms. Anita Rani gave information about the cultural activities like Talent Hunt, Youth Festival and Inter College Competitions etc.Ms Rupinder Riar oriented the students regarding skill-inteaching programme. Ms Rajni Lubana acquainted the students regarding NSS & allied services.Ms Navgeet Sandhu told the students about the dress code and discipline.In the end, Librarian Ms Anita Sharma acquainted the students about the library rules and identity cards..

To mark the significance of the role of teacher in students’ life and nation building, the teachers’ day was celebrated on 5th September, 2014. The function was presided over by Principal, Dr Kuldeep Kaur. Speaking on the occasion Dr Kuldeep kaur emphasized the need of dedication of the Nation builders towards teaching profession and respect the teacher – student bond immensely. He also emphasized the role of a teacher as a friend philosopher and a guide and compare teacher with God when he acts as a generator of knowledge, organizer of knowledge and dissolver of negative influences. He also stressed that teacher should build a sense of self – introspection so that they develop the capacity of constructive work. On this occasion B.Ed students deliberated upon the preachings of Sarvapalli Dr.Radha Krishnan . The day started with paying tribute to the great teacher Dr. Sarvpalli RadhaKrishnan.The students celebrated the day with full enthusiasm. The students expressed themselves by presenting speech, songs and poetry.
Youth Festival (Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar)
Youth Festival of educational colleges was held at GNDU, Amritsar on 24th September, 2014.Our college students participated in various events.Khushnandan Kaur (Roll No. 718) won 3rd prize in Rangoli Competition.

Red Ribbon Club Activities
Celebration of world AIDS day: World AIDS Day was celebrated on Dec. 1, 2013 by the Red Ribbon Club in order to spread awareness towards AIDS.
RRC of College is working efficiently in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala.Different activities organized during the session-

A seminar was organized by members of RRC on AIDS awareness. Programme Officer Ms Anita Rani presented a speech on HIV-AIDS, Prevention and precautions. Students also presented their views and acquainted their friends with this deadly disease alongwith its preventing measures and treatment.

Another initiative taken by RRC was Poster Making Competition Theme of this competition was AIDS awareness. All B.Ed students participated in this competition. The students were given prizes on the basis of their judgment.
Red Ribbon Club organized a rally in Greater Kailash colony for spreading awareness about AIDS and Blood Donation. All the students and faculty members participated in the rally.
CT College of Education organized Lohri Celebration on 12th January; 2015.The students organized a cultural programme.The cultural Programme reflected the rich heritage of Punjab. All the students participated in the lohri function with great enthusiasm.
CT Instiutions organised color Fest on 5th & 6th February,2015.Students of various schools & colleges participated in the different events like Pot painting,solo-dance,flower arrangement, group dance, poster making,Rangoli etc.Prize winners from CT College of Education-
Women Cell of the college organized cooking competition on 24th February, 2015.Students exhibited their cooking talent by participating in different categories like salad making, snacks and desserts.
During the session two college trips were organized .The first one day trip was organized on 22nd November, 2014 to Chandigarh, Pinjore Garden and Chhatbir Zoo.Ms Rupinder Riar, Ms Anju Sharma and Ms Rajni Lubana organized the trip.
The second trip was organized by Ms Rupinder Riar and Ms Anita Rani to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala.The students enjoyed as well learnt a lot in these trips.
N.S.S. CLEANLINESS CAMP To develop the sense of responsibility and dignity of labour, a cleanliness camp was organized by the N.S.S Unit in the College campus on 22nd January,2015. All the B.Ed students participated in the camp.
