1/22/20 WORK PROPOSAL The theme for my composite image will be women’s suffrage throughout the years. For this image I plan to make a series of images and use the same medium to interconnect the images together into a timeline. The series of images will contain symbolism for each topic then join them together into a final composition that will incorporate different elements into the work. The feminist movement and women’s rights movement will be the main influence of my work, I want to focus on global women’s issues as well, not only issues here in the U.S.A. My goal is to pay homage to women’s suffrage and the fight for equality, as it is not just a national issue but a global one. My intention is to bring awareness to these issues as being from a country where women have no voice or freedom has heavily influenced my passion for this topic. My plan of action for this course is to use my classroom/studio time not only to work on the project to seek help on the topics and ask for feedback on my ideas. I will most likely work on the project in the comfort of my home as well as at my job to complete the required 2 hours outside of class for every hour, as I am more productive during this time and have time to come up with new ideas. The mediums I will be using will be color pencils and pens, I am still contemplation on what kind of paper to use and the size because I plan on making a series of 5-7 topics and using a larger size paper to combine them together. I plan on working on multiple works at a time to be able to use similar techniques and elements to make sure the works will complement each other. I will try to invest my time wisely and be able to set deadlines to complete each of the works in a timely manner. My goal is to complete all 5-7 minor topics before starting on the main collage timeline. Share with your friends:
