9/17 – Continue language discussion and how it relates to vocab words. Vocab quiz on Wednesday, presentation on Freud’s Oedipus Complex – anyone want to do an assignment on this?

11/18 – Finish Slumdog…who needs time for parent teacher conferences? Workday on Thursday, quick tutorial on how to record sound and drop in pictures.
11/19 – PEP grant surveys, finished Slum Dog movie, hw: complete at least 85% of your project over break!!!

12/7 – Discuss book pass, book for next Monday! Trouble shoot projects – they need to be turned on before winter break. Next unit: literary terms through fiction, poetry, independent reading. Looking ahead to the final: performance assessment with literary terms (more discussion and explanation to follow- after break).
12/10 – Pass back all papers and grade reports for Q2, assign lit term homework: fiction and poetry.
